Rugby league powerhouses the Sydney Roosters and South Sydney Rabbitohs will both return to the Central Coast in 2025, with Pre-Season Challenge games confirmed for February and blockbuster NRL and NRLW matches locked in at polytec Stadium for later in the season.
The Sydney Roosters and Rugby League Central Coast (RLCC) recently announced a five-year extension of their strong pathways program and will again have a strong presence on the Coast in 2025.
The National Rugby League released the 2025 Pre-Season Challenge, NRL and NRLW draws yesterday and the highlights for the Central coast include:
Pre-Season Challenge
Saturday 15 February – Rabbitohs v Sea Eagles (3:30pm)
Sunday 23 February – Roosters v Knights (3:15pm)
NRL
Saturday 24 May – Roosters v Sharks (7:35pm)
Saturday 26 July – Rabbitohs v Sharks (7:35pm)
NRLW
Sunday 17 August – Roosters v Knights (1:45pm)
Thursday 11 September – Roosters v Sharks (7:45pm)
The NRL and NRLW games will create huge excitement on the Coast, with both the Roosters and the Rabbitohs enjoying a healthy local following. Large numbers of Sydney-based Members and supporters of both clubs will make the trip to the Central Coast.
