The Westpac NSW Blues will kick-off their campaign for the second game of the Ampol State of Origin series at Central Coast on Tuesday 9 June with a free meet and greet with local fans (3.30-4.30pm) at polytec Stadium, Gosford.
The visit will follow Westpac NSW Blues coach Laurie Daley’s squad announcement on Monday night (8 June) for Game Two at the MCG in Melbourne on Wednesday 17 June.
They will base themselves at Central Coast until Saturday before leaving for Melbourne. Central Coast was also their base in the lead-up to Game One, where they produced the biggest comeback in Origin history to down Queensland 22-20 at Accor Stadium in Sydney.
Central Coast Mayor Lawrie McKinna said that it is a real boost for the region to have the NSW Blues State of Origin team on the Central Coast.
“It’s great to see the NSW Blues State of Origin team at polytec Stadium for a meet and greet with fans,” Mayor McKinna said.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for our community to get up close with some of the game’s best and experience the excitement of State of Origin right here on the Central Coast.
“The community is behind them, cheering the mighty Blues all the way in the 2026 series against Queensland.”
