The CommBank Matildas are returning to the Central Coast for an important international friendly against the New Zealand Football Ferns – a key lead-up match ahead of next year’s AFC Women’s Asian Cup in Australia.
Thanks to the support of the NSW Government through its tourism and major events authority, Destination NSW, the CommBank Matildas will kick off a two-game series at polytec Stadium, Gosford on Friday 28 November at 7:30pm (AEDT), taking on Oceania’s strongest team.
The match will provide fans with another opportunity to support the national team as they continue their preparation on the road to the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026™.
In an additional bonus, Football Australia has announced that the CommBank Junior Matildas will play Thailand’s U16 National Team in a curtain-raiser from 4pm.
